Technical Higher Institute for Engineering and Petroleum (THIEP)
Is a unit of HAJR Technical Education and Training, an educational company specializing in technical training and education for the last two decades. Based in Saudi Arabia,
Established in 2009, the institute is one of the pioneer institutes in the Kingdom offering diploma programs namely Surveying Technology (SRV), Mechanical Inspection and Non Destructive Testing (MI/NDT), Civil Technology (CT), and Oil and Gas Exploration (O & G).
Its vocational training curriculum is accredited by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). These courses are Welding (WLD), Scaffolding (SCF), Pipefitting (PF), Electrical (ELE) and Field Safety (FS). It also offers technical short courses in Civil Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Inspections and Soft Skills.
The approval of THIEP as one of the Saudi Aramco Learning Training Partners paved way to its accreditation for Work Permit Receiver (WPR) and Contractor Workers Qualification Assurance Program (CWQAP) training and assessment programs.
THIEP is operating under the supervision of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporate (TVTC License No. 66040/1/8.), a government organization aims at developing the national human resources through appropriate training in order to meet the needs of the local labor market and industries.

CWQAP

This course provides theoretical and practical training designed to prepare participants to identify and assess workplace hazards, implement effective fire prevention and control policies, and respond confidently in emergencies. It covers the design and operation of fire suppression systems, proper use of firefighting equipment, first-aid procedures, and emergency response protocols. By completing this course, engineers, technicians, and safety officers will be equipped to apply national and international safety standards and maintain a zero-incident work environment.

🎯 Course Objectives Identifying and Controlling Hazards: Enable participants to recognize potential hazards in the work environment and apply necessary measures to mitigate them. Isolation and Tagging Procedures (LOTO): Teach how to isolate energy sources during maintenance to ensure worker safety. Confined Space Entry: Train on the procedures to follow when entering confined spaces that may pose safety risks. Understanding Aramco’s Permit System (GI 2.100): Familiarize participants with Aramco’s approved system for issuing work permits and ensuring compliance with standards. Conducting Necessary Inspections and Tests: Perform regular checks to ensure personnel and equipment are ready to operate safely.

🎯 Objectives of the ACI Course Prepare personnel to pass the international accreditation exams from ACI. Enhance the competence of workers in concrete testing and quality control. Promote a culture of compliance with global standards and specifications in construction projects.
