THIEP Institute Concludes Cathodic Protection (CP-1) Course in Dammam

THIEP Institute in Dammam concluded today the Cathodic Protection Level 1 (CP-1) course, which was conducted for one of the industrial companies in the city of Dammam, under the direct supervision of the Association of Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP), the world’s leading authority in the certification and qualification of specialists in materials protection and corrosion prevention.
The course was delivered by a group of certified trainers and focused on the scientific and practical fundamentals of cathodic protection. The program covered the principles of corrosion prevention, the operating mechanisms of cathodic protection systems, measurement and testing methods, as well as key applications in protecting metallic structures, pipelines, and industrial facilities.
The Institute’s management emphasized that organizing this course aligns with its objectives to strengthen partnerships with the industrial sector and to offer specialized technical programs that contribute to the development and qualification of national talent in line with industry needs.
